Our Source of Inspiration:
Indeed it is our humble tribute to late Raghunath Pandey, who was not only a legislator and ex-minister of the state of Bihar but also a great visionary, social reformer and social worker.
It is quite evident by his deeds that he never hesitated to leave any stone unturned for creating result oriented educational institutions so as to fulfil the dreams of so many talented students for becoming a successful and dynamic professionals. Late Raghunath Pandey always stressed the need of education and worked for upliftment of the weaker section of the society. Under his able, dynamic and strong= leadership, many institutions had already grown, flourished and augmented rapidly the cherished cause as he always laid utmost importance on education.
He was widely acclaimed as a founder of numerous professional institutions like Shri Krishna Medical College Muzaffarpur, Muzaffarpur Homeopathic College & Hospital Muzaffarpur, Vaishali Institute of Business and Rural Management, Muzaffarpur, Uma Pandey College, Pusa (Samastipur), Kid-Z Public School, Jhaphan, Muzaffarpur etc. Many of these under the auspices of VIKAS SEVA SANSTHAN (A registered trust under societies registration act, 1860), Muzaffarpur.
At this stage, when our youths are facing daunting task to shape their career and striving fast to settle themselves so a need was felt to provide an opportunity specially to the girls, SC/ST, down trodden & weaker section of the society.
Ultimately the legend called Raghunath Pandey became the only source of inspiration for establishing a law college at Muzaffarpur in his name ie, Raghunath Pandey Memorial Law College, Muzaffapur.
Concept of College:
It is quite evident that the city of Muzaffapur is a leading educational centre in Bihar. Apart from other educational institutions, there is only one law college, which has a limited number of seats and students are finding it very difficult to get themselves admitted in three years graduation and five years pre law courses. Under the prevailing situation & circumstances, when there has been an increasing demands of lawyers due to the inception of International commercial trading centres in India and influx of numerous cases and pending issues in the Indian courts. Obviously all such reasons provide a plethora of opportunities to the youths, who are aspiring to become a legal professional by acquiring a degree in law.
Raghunath Pandy Memorial Law College, Muzaffarpur stand committed to provide an environment perfectly conducive for learning and acquiring key characteristics to be a successful, complete and qualified lawyer. Since the college is uniquely positioned to produce value enriched lawyers with complete rounding of personality, who could be able to create corporate environment by excellence with the strategic intent of reviving the Pristine glory in the legal world.
The idea of starting such college was conceived and execution done by Shri Amarnath Pandey son of Late Raghunath Pandey for carrying tradition of his father merely with an intention to serve the society at a large and to fulfil long cherished demand of the people specially the SC / ST, down trodden and people belonging to the weaker section of our society. Shri Amarnath Pandey a young, dynamic, versatile person took the initiation for establishing this college with an object to provide excellent infrastructure alongwith unique and latest facilities to produce best of the lawyers. He is a well planner and very much enthusiastic to make an all-round development in the status of human life. It is his endeavour due to which the college is offering three years graduation and five years pre law courses. We expect tremendous growth, progress and development of the college under his efficient guidance and able stewardship.
